The only thing I felt would have added to this would be if the volume continued to explore more contemporary manifestations of the vampire in literature. The introductory essay charts the invention of the modern vampire from Villa Diodati, Byron and Shelley et al. The anthology is excellent with some less well known tales. ![]()
